brief introduction
Fiberlight is a compact UV-visible light source designed for all types of handheld devices that need low-power UV-visible moving spectrum analysis.
Fiberlight system is a UV-Vis light source with complete components, including deuterium lamp, 0.25W tungsten lamp, shutter, optical system and SMA905 interface. All components are installed on the integrated circuit board driven by 12V DC/600mA power supply. Deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp and shutter can be controlled independently by TTL signal.
The light source has compact size, low power consumption (6W or 12W), low heat generation, instantaneous lighting, cyclic operation, working life of up to 3 years, shutter function, external control, easy coupling of optical fiber, measuring unit and capillary tube, which opens up a new idea for the design of small spectrum analyzer and ultraviolet optical system.
After several years of research and development, a 12W high-energy fiber lamp has been provided since 2013, which has double ultraviolet output energy and similar compact size. Higher output energy means shorter integration time, faster response and lower detection limit.

Fiberlight deuterium lamp adopts electrodeless discharge lamp (EDL) driven by high frequency. Its lighting times will not shorten its service life, and it can be turned on and off according to instructions, and it can work circularly, and its continuous working life is guaranteed to exceed 1000 hours. The working life of optical fiber joint is extended to 3 years by cyclic operation; In addition, the repeatability between pulses is stable and consistent, and the deviation is within 0.1%.
Instantaneous opening and homeopathic stability
Fiberlight EDL can instantly turn on and output deuterium lamps with stable spectra, which makes it unique among ultraviolet light sources. Therefore, Fiberlight is an ideal light source for analytical instruments used for pollution monitoring. In monitoring, only the absorption spectrum is measured for a few seconds, and the measurement is repeated after a long time interval. In this kind of monitoring, Fiberlight is turned on only for a short measuring time, and it is turned off most of the time. There is no doubt that its measurement stability is excellent because of its repeatability between pulses.

Application example
In order to measure the nitrate content in sewage, Fiberlight was turned on for 2 seconds, and the nitrate absorption spectrum was measured, and the measurement was repeated every 60 seconds.
